These guidelines apply to all Sellers on Fresh Connect to ensure buyers receive safe, high-quality food.
Compliance with Laws
- Sellers must follow all relevant local, state, and federal food safety regulations.
- Required permits, certifications, and inspections must be up to date.
Handling & Storage
- Perishable items must be kept at proper temperatures during storage and transport.
- Sellers should use insulated packaging or cold packs when necessary.
Product Quality
- Products must be fresh, unspoiled, and accurately represented.
- No expired or damaged goods may be listed.
Labeling
- Labels must include product name, ingredients (if processed), weight, and origin.
- All allergen information must be clearly disclosed.
Packaging
- Use clean, food-safe packaging.
- Avoid contamination from other goods during storage and transport.
Buyer Complaints
- Address complaints promptly and professionally.
- Cooperate with Fresh Connect in the event of a food safety concern.
